Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of tractor-trailers and submit DOT inspection records
• Before handing over any shipments, make sure to validate the bills of lading and store keys for accuracy and completeness
• Transport goods in tractor-trailers securely to assigned areas in accordance with DOT guidelines
• Keep driver logs and delivery documentation accurate and up-to-date
• Decontainerize trailers and deliver items directly to customer locations
• Follow all company rules and regulations related to safety and operations

Qualifications and Experience

• Possessing an approved CDL license
• Only those who are 21 years and older are permitted
• The criteria for eligibility include demonstrating a minimum of 12 months of experience driving a tractor-trailer or completing 50,000 miles
• Acquaint yourself with McLane's approach to MVR checks and risk rating qualifications
• The ability to read, write, and understand English is essential for meeting safety and operational expectations
• Prioritizing safety, demonstrating reliability, being adaptable, and having a dedicated work ethic are fundamental qualities
