Requirements

• The minimum threshold for age is set at 21 years old
• Strategies for passing a drug test specifically for Ryder
• The screening process for Ryder involves a thorough background check, motor vehicle evaluation, and confirmation of drug and alcohol testing from previous employers within the last three years
• Obtain a medical clearance for the Department of Transportation
• Pass the driving evaluation with Ryder
• Make certain to possess the correct CDL and endorsements that align with the specifications of the job opening
• Indispensable prerequisite involves having tangible experience driving a tractor-trailer or a comparable Class A vehicle:
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years,or
• Two years of experience within the past five years is a must
• Possessing five years of practical experience within the most recent decade
• Aptitude in comprehending and implementing written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read and implement laws, regulations, and policies with precision

Responsibilities

• Guaranteeing conformity with the appropriate federal and state laws, regulations, and agency standards is essential
• Detection and mitigation of safety risks, alongside maintaining precise records and logs
• Helping with freight loading or unloading duties as required by the customer
