CDL A Company Driver

Job Summary:

Ryder's core expertise lies in the deployment of technology-driven strategies to optimize supply chain efficiencies, manage transportation logistics, and oversee fleet operations for a broad clientele that ranges from small businesses to major corporate entities.

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age is necessary
• Methods to pass a Ryder drug test
• Prospective employees are expected to satisfy Ryder's conditions by passing a background review, motor vehicle verification, and validating drug and alcohol testing results from the preceding three years with former employers
• Undergo a physical assessment for DOT certification
• Meet the standards set by Ryder for the road test
• Submission of your valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and relevant endorsements is a fundamental step in the application procedure
• Mandatory criteria encompass a proven track record of operating a Class A commercial vehicle like a tractor-trailer or equivalent:
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years,or
• A minimum of two years of experience in the last five years is a prerequisite
• Demonstrated experience totaling five years within the last ten years
• Proficiency in adhering to prescribed written or spoken directives
• Proficiency in understanding and applying legal statutes, rules, and protocols

Responsibilities

• Adhering to the relevant federal and state laws, regulations, and agency guidelines is necessary
• Finding and mitigating safety hazards, coupled with accurate record-keeping and logging
• Supporting in the transfer of goods onto or from transportation vehicles as per customer request
• Accomplishes further responsibilities as given
