Class A OTR Owner Operator

Job Summary

Clean Harbors is seeking an experienced OTR Class A Dry Van Owner Operator to join their safety-focused team. The role involves hauling freight across designated routes, averaging approximately 2,500–3,000 miles per week. Drivers must be comfortable with extended time on the road, typically staying out for up to two weeks at a time. The position emphasizes safe driving practices, reliability, and adherence to company and regulatory standards.

About the Role

• Average annual earnings of $200,000 – $250,000
• Bi-weekly home time
• Compensation includes hourly demurrage rates, non-asset hourly rates, and/or mileage pay

Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety compliance with all company policies and safe work practices
• Operate tractor-trailer units safely and efficiently
• Adhere to weight regulations and proper equipment utilization
• Load and unload hazardous and non-hazardous waste
• Properly secure loads and placard vehicles according to DOT regulations
• Maintain daily logs, trip reports, inspection reports, invoices, and dispatch documentation

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements
• Minimum of 12 months Class A driving experience
• Ability to use mobile applications and computer software
