Job Responsibilities:

• Comply with all Department of Transportation regulations to guarantee the safe operation of a Class A commercial motor vehicle and prevent any safety violations.
• Secure the timely and professional delivery of dry van freight to diverse customer locations.
• Ensure safety and roadworthiness levels are met by carrying out mandatory pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections.
• Utilizing Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) facilitates the maintenance of precise documentation regarding hours-of-service and trip information.
• Communication: Consistently engaging with dispatchers and driver managers to update them on load statuses and promptly address any safety issues communicated.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Only individuals with a valid Class A CDL are eligible for licensing.
• Compulsory: Prospective applicants need to have a minimum of 6 to 12 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
• The age criterion dictates that individuals must be 22 years or older.
• Driving Record Requirement: No more than 3 moving violations in the prior 3 years and no major preventable accidents.
• Obligation for compliance: Applicants must fulfill the requirement of passing a DOT physical and a pre-hiring drug screening.
