Responsibilities

• Ensure the safe operation and proper maintenance of a Class A commercial vehicle
• Deliver cargo efficiently along specified pathways within scheduled time frames
• Guarantee that vehicles undergo inspections to adhere to Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines
• Establish clear and efficient communication channels with dispatch and assistance teams for better coordination
• Follow the rules and regulations set forth by the company and maintain safety protocols both while driving and while not behind the wheel

Qualifications and Experience

• The requirement includes holding a Class A CDL license that is current and being at least 21 years old
• A minimum of three months of proven driving background is required
• A spotless driving history with a maximum of 2 traffic infractions within the previous 24 months
• There have been no significant avoidable mishaps in the last five years
• Meeting the requirements to pass the Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and drug screening is essential
• No driving under the influence or driving while intoxicated convictions within the last five years, or within the last ten years if the individual held a commercial driver's license at the time of the offense
• Flex Fleet drivers need to reside within a 250-mile radius of a designated terminal
