CDL-A Dry Van Truck Driver

Job Summary

Fuchs Trucking is currently hiring CDL-A Truck Drivers to haul dry van freight. Drivers will operate newer model trucks, run Midwest-focused routes, and enjoy consistent year-round freight with flexible home time options.

Pay & Compensation

• Earn $0.59 – $0.66 per mile (based on experience, includes bonus)
• Home Weekly drivers averaged $89,200 annually
• Local drivers average $1,200 – $1,300 per week
• Paid practical miles
• Stop pay and detention pay
• $200 paid orientation
• $0.10 per diem (No administrative fees)
• Tenure bonus – Increased pay based on length of employment
• Local: Home daily (Must live within 25 miles of Sauk City, WI)
• Regional: 5.5 days out
  • Leave Sunday – Home Friday
  • Leave Monday – Home Saturday

Work Details

• Average 2,700 miles per week
• Midwest-focused routes with opportunities for longer hauls
• Modern fleet with APUs, inverters, and refrigerators
• Average truck age less than 3 years

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL License
• Minimum 6 months over-the-road driving experience
• Clean driving record with no DUI convictions in the last 5 years
• Reliable and punctual
• Friendly and customer service-oriented attitude
