CDL A Truck Driver

Job Summary:

This position offers a Tuesday through Saturday schedule with dispatch between 3:00 AM and 5:00 AM, ensuring home daily routes. Drivers receive a daily guarantee plus commission pay with earning potentia. The role involves delivering food and food-related products safely and efficiently while representing the company to customers.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a tractor trailer or straight truck for local and regional deliveries.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections according to DOT and company standards.
• Deliver customer orders based on assigned routes and schedules.
• Unload products and transport them into designated customer areas.
• Verify order accuracy, obtain signatures, and manage delivery documentation.
• Collect payments when required and process customer returns as per policy.
• Report safety issues, vehicle repairs, or route hazards promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of hours of service and complete logs in compliance with DOT regulations.
• Keep the tractor, trailer, and work areas clean and secure at all times.
• Support team operations and perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 12 months of commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A license and current DOT Health Card.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) for the past 3 years.
• Successful completion of road test, background check, and drug screening.
• Ability to lift, move, and stack freight up to 90 lbs using equipment such as a two-wheeler or lift gate.
