Job Responsibilities:

• Follow all Department of Transportation regulations to maintain the safe operation of a Class A commercial motor vehicle and ensure the safety of all individuals on the road.
• Guarantee the professional and timely delivery of dry van freight to different customer locations.
• Mandatory inspections before and after trips play a vital role in maintaining equipment safety and roadworthiness.
• Utilizing Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) facilitates the maintenance of precise documentation regarding hours-of-service and trip information.
• Communication: Sustaining regular communication with dispatchers and driver managers to share load updates and collaborate on addressing any safety concerns effectively.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Possession of a legitimate Class A CDL is a must for obtaining a license.
• Key requirement: A minimum of 6 to 12 months of confirmed tractor-trailer experience is essential.
• The applicant should be no younger than 22 years old.
• Driving Record Requirement: No more than 3 moving violations in the prior 3 years and no major preventable accidents.
• Conformance to guidelines: All applicants are expected to pass a DOT physical examination and undergo a pre-employment drug screening.
