Position Description:

Requirements
- Aged 21 years or above is the minimum criterion
- How to successfully clear a Ryder drug test
- To meet Ryder's requirements, candidates must successfully complete a background verification, motor vehicle check, and demonstrate their drug and alcohol testing history from the last three years with former employers
- Undergo a physical assessment for DOT certification
- Fulfill the criteria needed to pass the Ryder road test
- Candidates must possess the appropriate Commercial Driver's License (CDL) along with any pertinent endorsements for this role
- Fundamental requirement includes possessing verifiable experience in operating a Class A commercial vehicle, such as a tractor-trailer:
- 9 months experience within the past 3 years,or
- A minimum of two years of recent experience is necessary within the past five years
- Five years of relevant experience within the last ten years
- Displaying adeptness in following instructions communicated through writing or speech
- Proficiency in understanding and applying legal statutes, rules, and protocols

Responsibilities
- Maintaining adherence to the relevant federal and state laws, regulations, and agency guidelines is imperative
- Recognizing and reducing potential dangers to ensure safety, along with maintaining precise logs and records
- Aid in the handling of freight during the loading and unloading process as per customer needs
- Accomplishes further responsibilities as given
