K&B Transportation is seeking experienced CDL-A Truck Drivers to join our Midwest Regional fleet. Job Responsibilities

• Operate a Class A tractor-trailer safely and efficiently
• Run primarily Midwest regional routes
• Transport 100% no-touch freight
• Comply with all DOT and company safety regulations
• Maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 1 year of current OTR tractor-trailer experience
• Safe driving record and strong work ethic

Compensation & Pay

• Starting pay: 62–70 CPM
• Guaranteed weekly minimum: $1,426–$1,564
• Top drivers earn up to $85,000+ annually
• High-production weeks: $1,850–$2,000
• $1,000 sign-on bonus paid on first check
• Additional pay for drop, detention, and layovers
• Clean inspection, safety, and referral bonuses

K&B Transportation was founded by Ken Ackerman in Sioux City, Iowa, beginning as a modest operation with 25 tractors and 85 meat rail trailers. Originally focused on hauling carcass meat from IBP kill plants to IBP processing facilities, the company quickly adapted when IBP shifted to moving freight on its own equipment. K&B responded by expanding its focus to serve customers across the Greater Midwest.

Today, K&B Transportation is a recognized leader in the refrigerated and perishable food transportation industry. Our fleet has grown to include more than 2,000 pieces of equipment, allowing us to serve an expanded network of lanes and customers nationwide.
