Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure safe operation of a Class A commercial motor vehicle through strict adherence to all DOT regulations and guidelines to prevent accidents and promote safety.
• Guarantee the professional and timely delivery of dry van freight to different customer locations.
• To uphold safety and roadworthiness standards, it is crucial to perform mandatory pre- and post-trip equipment checks.
• Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) play a key role in accurately recording hours-of-service information and trip documentation.
• Communication: Maintaining a consistent flow of communication with dispatchers and driver managers to provide updates on load status and discuss safety concerns when needed.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Having a valid Class A CDL is a compulsory condition for licensing.
• Key requirement: A minimum of 6 to 12 months of confirmed tractor-trailer experience is essential.
• Candidates must meet the minimum age of 22 years.
• Traffic Offense Threshold: Limited to 3 moving violations in the previous 3 years and an absence of major preventable accidents.
• Requirement for observance: All candidates must successfully complete a DOT physical and a pre-employment drug screening to meet standards.
• Maintaining reliability requires a strong focus on safety, punctuality, and delivering professional customer service with consistency.
