Responsibilities:

• Operate large trucks securely and effectively on both highways and within communities.
• Before embarking on a journey, carefully inspect the vehicle to confirm its readiness, and repeat the process after reaching your destination.
• Design and follow through with efficient delivery routes for timely arrivals.
• Safeguard against damage by handling, securing, and transporting goods with care.
• Maintaining open lines of communication with both dispatchers and clients during trips is highly recommended.
• Accurately track hours worked and conduct timely vehicle maintenance checks as per schedule.
• Abide by all safety requirements and recommendations provided by the Department of Transportation (DOT).
• Make sure to promptly report any vehicle-related concerns, occurrences, or breaches to uphold compliance standards.

Qualifications:

• The ownership of a current CDL for driving Class A commercial vehicles.
• A flawless driving history without any major breaches.
• Meeting the standards set forth by the DOT for physical assessments and drug tests.
• Demonstrating strong skills in managing time effectively and organizing tasks proficiently.
• Familiarity with the safe transportation of oversized or weighty loads.
• Exceptional customer care expertise combined with strong communication capabilities.
• Pledge to prioritize safety and adhere to regulatory mandates.

Experience Levels Accepted:

• CDL Trainees
• CDL School Graduates
• Motorists who successfully complete our 12-week structured training program (designed for those with 3 months to 5 years of experience)

Preferred Experience:

• Handling different types of trailers like dry van, refrigerated, flatbed, and tanker configurations.
• Capability in efficiently managing combined vehicle operations.
• Competence in the transportation of personal items and specialized shipments.
