Job Responsibilities:

• Adhere to all DOT regulations to ensure the safe operation of a Class A commercial motor vehicle and minimize any risks associated with non-compliance.
• Assure the timely and skilled delivery of dry van freight to multiple customer locations.
• Mandatory inspections both before and after trips are necessary to verify equipment safety and roadworthiness.
• Ensure precise records of hours-of-service and trip documentation by utilizing Electronic Logging Devices (ELD).
• Communication: Regularly staying in touch with dispatchers and driver managers to share updates on load statuses and discuss any safety concerns as they arise.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Licensing necessitates the possession of a valid Class A CDL.
• Mandatory: A verifiable track record of 6 to 12 months behind the wheel of a tractor-trailer is required.
• A candidate must have reached the age of 22 or above.
• Safety Violation Limit: A cap of 3 moving infractions in the last 3 years with no major avoidable incidents.
• Observance is crucial: All applicants are obligated to pass a DOT physical examination and a pre-employment drug screening.
