Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-trip reviews of tractor-trailers and document DOT inspection assessments
• Always cross-verify bills of lading and store keys before delivery to avoid any discrepancies or mistakes
• Operate tractor-trailers in a secure manner to designated locations while meeting DOT regulations
• Ensure the exactness of driver logs and maintain thorough delivery documentation
• Decontainerize trailers and deliver items directly to customer locations
• Abide by the company’s safety and operational policies and procedures

Qualifications and Experience

• Carrying a legitimate Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• The minimum age requirement is 21 years
• An individual must demonstrate a minimum of 12 months or 50,000 proven miles behind the wheel of a tractor-trailer
• Familiarize yourself with McLane's standards for evaluating MVRs and determining risk ratings
• Proficiency in English is necessary to ensure adherence to safety and operational regulations
• Having a strong emphasis on safety, being trustworthy, versatile, and having a diligent work ethic is crucial
