OTR Class A Owner Operators

Job Summary

Clean Harbors is seeking an OTR Class A Dry Van Owner Operator to join their safety-focused team. This role involves transporting goods between multiple regional facilities, covering approximately 2,500–3,000 miles per week. Drivers should be willing to be on the road for up to two weeks at a time and must prioritize safety and professionalism while representing the company.

About the Role

• Average Pay: $200,000 - $250,000 per year
• Home Time: Bi-Weekly
• Compensation Package: Includes on-duty time paid via hourly demurrage rates, non-asset hourly rates, and/or mileage pay

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the top priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and procedures
• Operate tractor-trailer units safely and efficiently
• Adhere to weight limits and ensure proper utilization of equipment
• Ensure proper loading and unloading of hazardous and non-hazardous waste, securing loads appropriately
• Placard vehicle according to Company and DOT requirements/regulations
• Maintain daily logs, invoices, time sheets, dispatch and trip reports, and vehicle inspection reports

Qualifications

• Class A CDL with HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience
• Ability to effectively use required technology, including mobile apps and computer software
