Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure safe operation of a Class A commercial motor vehicle through strict adherence to all DOT regulations and guidelines to prevent accidents and promote safety.
• Ensure the punctual and expert transportation of dry van cargo to various customer sites.
• Ensure safety and roadworthiness levels are met by carrying out mandatory pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections.
• Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) offer a reliable solution for accurately documenting hours-of-service records and trip details.
• Communication: Consistently engaging with dispatchers and driver managers to update them on load statuses and promptly address any safety issues communicated.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Having a valid Class A CDL is a compulsory condition for licensing.
• Essential background: Candidates must possess 6 to 12 months of verifiable experience driving tractor-trailers.
• The age criterion dictates that individuals must be 22 years or older.
• Safety Compliance Benchmark: Adherence to a maximum of 3 moving violations within the last 3 years and no significant preventable accidents.
• Obligation for compliance: Applicants must fulfill the requirement of passing a DOT physical and a pre-hiring drug screening.
