CDL A Delivery Driver

Job Summary:

This position offers a guaranteed annual income with a Monday through Friday schedule and home daily routes. The role focuses on delivering food and food-related products safely and efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction while adhering to DOT regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Safely drive a tractor trailer or straight truck for local and interstate deliveries.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections according to DOT and company safety standards.
• Ensure timely delivery of products and verify orders with customers.
• Unload products and transport items into designated customer storage areas.
• Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and records of hours of service.
• Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and coworkers.
• Report safety issues, repairs, and any discrepancies immediately.
• Perform housekeeping duties to keep vehicles and dock areas clean.
• Complete all necessary end-of-shift documentation and secure equipment.

Qualifications and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 12 months of commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A license and DOT Health Card.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Clean MVR record for the past 3 years.
• Ability to pass post-offer drug test and road test.
• Capable of lifting and moving products up to 90 lbs using material handling equipment.
