Requirements
- Individuals must have reached the age of 21 as a minimum requirement
- Tips for passing a drug test at Ryder
- Prospective employees are expected to satisfy Ryder's conditions by passing a background review, motor vehicle verification, and validating drug and alcohol testing results from the preceding three years with former employers
- Fulfill the DOT physical requirements for driving privileges
- Satisfactorily demonstrate driving abilities during the Ryder road test
- Required documentation includes your Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and any necessary endorsements for the role
- Mandatory criteria encompass a proven track record of operating a Class A commercial vehicle like a tractor-trailer or equivalent:
- 9 months experience within the past 3 years,or
- Two years of experience within the last five years is mandatory
- A track record of five years of experience within the last ten years
- Proficiency in adhering to prescribed written or spoken directives
- Competency in analyzing and executing laws, rules, and guidelines

Responsibilities
- Making sure that all applicable federal and state laws, regulations, as well as agency rules and guidelines, are being followed is essential
- Discovering and reducing safety risks and maintaining detailed logs and records
- Supporting in the transfer of goods onto or from transportation vehicles as per customer request
- Executes supplemental assignments as directed
