Responsibilities

• Execute safe operation and maintenance practices for a Class A commercial vehicle
• Transfer shipments over designated routes, prioritizing timely deliveries
• Ensure that vehicles are inspected regularly to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
• Implement communication strategies that promote effective interaction with dispatch and assistance teams for optimal efficiency
• Stay in line with the company's policies and maintain safety standards whether you are driving or not

Qualifications and Experience

• Applicants must have a valid Class A CDL license and be at least 21 years of age to be considered
• Demonstrable experience behind the wheel for three months is a prerequisite
• Limited to a total of 2 moving violations within the last 2 years on the individual's driving record
• The absence of major preventable accidents is notable in the past five years
• Showing the capability to successfully navigate the requirements of the DOT physical test and drug screening is essential
• The guidelines specify that no DUI or DWI offenses should have occurred in the preceding five years, or in the preceding ten years for individuals who were holding a commercial driver's license at the time
• It is a must for Flex Fleet drivers to have their home address within 250 miles of a terminal
