Qualifications:
- Demonstrated professional experience as a truck driver is essential.
- Proficiency in operating and utilizing modern electronic logging devices and software, including GPS, on-board computer systems (AVL units), and CB radios.
- Capability to manage long driving hours and readiness for regular, sustained travel.
- Comprehensive understanding of all federal, state, and local truck driving regulations and rules.
- Exceptional adaptability and foresight to skillfully navigate unforeseen circumstances such as traffic delays or challenging weather conditions.
- Willingness to complete pre-employment requirements, including background checks, drug screenings, and providing verifiable employment recommendations.
- Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A.

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a tractor-trailer combination or a straight truck with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) of 26,000 pounds or more.
- Strategically plan and execute routes to guarantee on-time delivery schedules, strictly adhering to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety protocols.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, identifying and reporting any mechanical issues or safety concerns, and performing basic preventative maintenance checks.
- Maintain meticulous records of working/resting hours and mileage driven, utilizing electronic logging devices, and accurately retaining all receipts for fuel and tolls.
- Comply fully with all trucking regulations (including size, weight, route restrictions, parking, and mandated rest breaks) and all internal company policies and procedures.
- Skillfully maneuver trucks into precise positions for efficient loading and unloading operations.
- Confirm and verify all delivery instructions and required documentation prior to departure.
- Promptly report any vehicle damages, accidents, traffic violations, or service disruptions to management.
