Job Responsibilities:

• Safe Operation: Maintain the safe operation of a Class A commercial motor vehicle in accordance with all DOT regulations.
• Freight Delivery: Ensure the timely and professional delivery of dry van freight to various customer locations.
• Inspections: Perform mandatory pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections to ensure safety and roadworthiness.
• Documentation: Utilize Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) to maintain accurate hours-of-service records and trip documentation.
• Communication: Maintain consistent contact with dispatchers and driver managers regarding load status and safety concerns.

Requirements

Requirements & Qualifications:

• License: Must possess a valid Class A CDL.
• Experience: Minimum of 6 to 12 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
• Age: Must be at least 22 years of age.
• Safety Record: No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years and no major preventable accidents.
• Compliance: Must pass a DOT physical and a pre-employment drug screen.
• Reliability: A strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and professional customer service.
