Wooster Motor Ways is hiring a dependable, safety-first Company Driver to haul freight across our regional lanes. We offer steady miles, a team that looks out for you, and a clear pay structure that rewards safe, experienced drivers.
Equipment:
Our International LT trucks come fully equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, TV, premium driver's seat, and an auxiliary power unit (APU) for your comfort on the road.
What you'll do
- Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport freight, general commodities, and specialized cargo.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report defects, accidents, or violations promptly.
- Load, secure, and inspect cargo; follow special handling procedures for hazmat or temperature-sensitive freight.
- Maintain accurate HOS logs and all required DOT/FMCSA documentation.
- Verify bills of lading, collect signatures/receipts, and ensure all paperwork is complete and correct.
- Plan routes and schedules to meet pickup and delivery windows.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance (fluids, minor repairs); keep trailer clean and ready.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL With1 year of experience — required.
- HazMat endorsement preferred not required.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- TWIC card preferred not required.
- Must pass and maintain all DOT/FMCSA physical requirements.

Wooster Motor Ways, Inc.(WMW) was established in 1964 by a group of business leaders as an intrastate transportation company providing specialized cartage services for local businesses in Wooster, Ohio and the surrounding area. In 1970, the company obtained an interstate Motor Carrier Authority and expanded into regional truckload transportation to complement its local delivery service. After more than 10 years of success, the company was purchased by Mr. Ken Beaverson in 1975. In the following years, Mr. Beaverson developed WMW to be a full service logistics company offering complete supply chain services including warehousing, cross-dock facilities, local LTL and diesel engine and trailer repair and maintenance.
