Job Responsibilities:

• Follow all Department of Transportation regulations to maintain the safe operation of a Class A commercial motor vehicle and ensure the safety of all individuals on the road.
• Ensure that dry van cargo is transported promptly and professionally to various customer destinations.
• Verify safety and roadworthiness by conducting mandatory pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections.
• The utilization of Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) is crucial in maintaining precise documentation of hours-of-service and trips.
• Communication: Ensuring ongoing communication with dispatchers and driver managers to keep them informed of load progress and address any safety issues in a timely manner.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Possession of a legitimate Class A CDL is a must for obtaining a license.
• Prerequisite: A minimum of 6 to 12 months of demonstrable experience in operating tractor-trailers is mandatory.
• The required age for applicants is 22 years and above.
• Driving Safety Standard: Restricted to 3 moving violations within the past 3 years and no major preventable accidents.
• Compliance is necessary: Meeting the criteria involves passing a DOT physical examination and a pre-employment drug screen.
