CDL-A Truck Driver - Local - Home Daily

Job Summary

TA Dedicated is hiring experienced CDL-A truck drivers for a local shuttle. In this role, drivers will shuttle double drop flatbed trailers hauling CAT parts, such as engines, radiators, gensets, and other components between local yards and various plant and warehouse locations. Securement using chains and binders is required. This is a home-daily position offering consistent work, steady hours, and guaranteed time at home during the day with your family.

Responsibilities

• Shuttle CAT parts, including engines, radiators, gensets, and other components between local yards and plant/warehouse locations.
• Use chains and binders for securement of flatbed loads.
• Operate double drop trailers primarily during night shifts.
• Follow a consistent and reliable schedule, working Sunday through Friday from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards while on the road.

Qualifications and Experience

• Valid CDL-A license.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience, with 6 months of verified flatbed experience in the last 3 years.
• 6 months of securement experience, including the use of chains and binders.
• Must be 21 years old or older.
• DOT qualified and able to pass a comprehensive drug test.
• Satisfactory safety and employment history.

Benefits

• Hourly pay of $28.00 per hour with overtime pay at $42.00 per hour for all hours worked beyond 40 in a workweek (averaging 10 hours of overtime weekly).
