Responsibilities:

• Engage in the safe and efficient operation of large trucks on highways and local roadways.
• Take the time to thoroughly examine the vehicle before setting off and again upon completing the trip to guarantee its fitness for the road.
• Establish and implement efficient delivery routes to ensure timely shipments.
• Be cautious in how you handle, secure, and transport goods to prevent damage.
• Keeping communication channels active with dispatchers and clientele is crucial during trips.
• Record working hours diligently and adhere to scheduled vehicle maintenance inspections.
• Ensure strict adherence to the safety standards outlined by the Department of Transportation (DOT).
• Adhere to compliance standards by promptly reporting any vehicle complications, incidents, or infractions.

Qualifications:

• Possessing an official CDL for driving Class A trucks.
• No major violations on the driver's clean record.
• Satisfying the criteria outlined by the DOT for health evaluations and substance abuse testing.
• Excelling in time management and organization is a key competency in various aspects of life.
• Accomplished in the safe management of bulky or heavy loads.
• Outstanding capacity for customer service excellence and clear, concise communication skills.
• Emphasis on the importance of complying with regulations and ensuring safety protocols.

Experience Levels Accepted:

• CDL Trainees
• CDL School Graduates
• Individuals who complete our 12-week structured training program (designed for those with 3 months to 5 years of experience)

Preferred Experience:

• Employing a selection of trailers including dry van, refrigerated, flatbed, and tanker varieties.
• Expertise in the use of multiple units and combined vehicle operations.
• Experience with moving household belongings and specialized freight.
