Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain the safe operation of a Class A commercial motor vehicle by strictly adhering to all regulations established by the DOT.
• Ensure the timely and professional shipment of dry van freight to a variety of customer locations.
• It is essential to carry out mandatory pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections to maintain safety and roadworthiness standards.
• Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) are essential tools for preserving accurate records of hours-of-service and trip details.
• Communication: Maintaining open lines of communication with dispatchers and driver managers to relay information on load status and safety matters consistently.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• The possession of a valid Class A CDL is a prerequisite for obtaining a license.
• Necessary: Verifiable tractor-trailer experience of 6 to 12 months is a prerequisite.
• All individuals must be at least 22 years of age.
• Safety Performance: A record of no more than 3 moving offenses in the last 3 years and a clean slate in terms of major preventable accidents.
• Adherence to regulations is mandatory: Passing a DOT physical and pre-employment drug screening are obligatory for all candidates.
