Requirements

• The stipulated age for eligibility is a minimum of 21 years
• Achieve a positive outcome on a Ryder drug screening
• A background check, as well as a motor vehicle screening, are required by Ryder, along with validation of drug and alcohol use from past employers within the last three years
• Take a DOT physical test to ensure compliance with regulations
• Successfully navigate the Ryder road assessment
• Make certain to possess the correct CDL and endorsements that align with the specifications of the job opening
• Compulsory qualification entails having authentic experience driving a tractor-trailer or a similar Class A vehicle:
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years,or
• Within the previous five years, candidates should possess at least two years of experience
• Having worked for five years in the most recent decade
• Demonstrating the capacity to adhere to written or verbal directions
• Capability to interpret and adhere to legal guidelines, regulations, and policies effectively

Responsibilities

• Complying with the applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules and standards is vital
• Spotting and diminishing safety hazards, while also ensuring accurate record-keeping
• Helping with loading or unloading cargo, as needed by the client
• Undertakes supplementary assignments as instructed
