CDL Driver - Linehaul (Doubles)

Job Summary:

This position involves operating linehaul routes for Core-Mark, transporting empty and full trailers between facilities in a safe and efficient manner. Drivers handle doubles, following strict DOT regulations while maintaining the integrity of goods during transport. Responsibilities:

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections on tractors and trailers per DOT regulations.
• Transport trailers between warehouse and domicile locations safely and on schedule.
• Perform hook and unhook procedures according to safety standards.
• Report all safety issues or maintenance needs promptly.
• Ensure freight is loaded, secured, and delivered as planned.
• Complete all required paperwork, including hours-of-service logs and route records.
• Collect and return damaged goods and customer returns as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tractors and trailers.
• Follow all company policies, DOT regulations, and safe driving practices.

Qualifications and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid CDL Class A license.
• Minimum 6 months of commercial driving experience.
• Doubles endorsement preferred.
• Clean MVR for the past 3 years.
• Must be 21 years of age and meet all DOT medical and licensing requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 90 lbs and operate loading equipment safely.
• Experience with electronic logging systems and delivery scanning devices preferred.
