Job Responsibilities:

• Uphold the safe operation of a Class A commercial motor vehicle by following all DOT regulations and guidelines to prevent any potential safety hazards.
• Secure the punctual and proficient transportation of dry van cargo to diverse customer sites.
• Conducting necessary pre- and post-trip equipment inspections is crucial for ensuring safety and roadworthiness.
• Rely on Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) to ensure the accuracy of hours-of-service records and trip documentation.
• Communication: Consistently updating dispatchers and driver managers on the status of loads and addressing any safety concerns through effective communication.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• A legitimate Class A CDL is a mandatory requirement for licensing.
• Essential: Candidates must have a minimum of 6 to 12 months of documented experience driving tractor-trailers.
• The age eligibility starts at 22 years old.
• Traffic Safety Record: No more than 3 moving violations over the past 3 years and no significant preventable accidents.
• Fulfillment of requirements: Candidates need to clear a DOT physical and undergo a pre-employment drug test to comply with regulations.
