Responsibilities
- Maintain the safety and operation standards required for a Class A commercial vehicle
- Convey merchandise along assigned paths with prompt deliveries
- Ensure that vehicles are inspected and meet the necessary requirements as per DOT regulations
- Enhance communication strategies with dispatch and support teams to improve overall response times
- Observe and adhere to the safety standards and company policies whether you are driving or not
Qualifications and Experience
- Meeting the criteria involves having a Class A CDL license that is valid and being at least 21 years old
- It is essential to have a track record of driving for a minimum of three months
- A driving history that shows no more than 2 moving violations in the 24 months leading up to the present
- There is a five-year record of no major preventable accidents on file
- Having the aptitude to clear the DOT physical evaluation and drug test is important
- The eligibility criteria include a restriction on any DUI or DWI cases within the past five years, or within the past ten years for individuals who were CDL holders at the time
- To be eligible, Flex Fleet drivers must be based within a 250-mile vicinity of a terminal
